Not 10 but 15 lbs

Jeff and I are going to up the anty to 15 lbs. We weighed in on Sunday and the stats are Jeff: 195.8 Nat: 205.8. I am looking forward to beating him and getting the golf clubs. I am seeing a difference in my body from the heavy lifting. I am getting tighter and firmer. All of the saggy parts are getting nice and firm, which is awesome! I want to get my weight down, but it is just as important to have strong muscles. Whichever order that comes in, I don't care, as long as it happens. I can't wait for summer to show off my new body.

New pictures will be posted in about 2 weeks, so look forward to that. hahaha. I'm sure I won't be that happy with them, but I am hoping to see some changes in my body. I LOVE to SEE results, not just feel them.

I still love my program. I am upping my cardio to see if I can drop some of the weight. Today will be a 60 min cardio day.

Thought of the day:
What this power is I cannot say; all I know is that it exists and it becomes available only when a man is in that state of mind in which he knows exactly what he wants and is fully determined not to quit until he finds it.Alexander Graham Bell

10 lb Challenge!

So Jeff (my hubby) and I have challeged each other to a 10 lb weight loss. It has to be real weight, no cheating like sitting in the sauna. Weigh in is Sunday, first one to goal wins new golf clubs! YAY! It will be very interesting because Jeff really wants golf clubs and I really want to beat him. =) So Sunday you will get the downlow.

Tape Measure

I can't find my stupid tape measure anywhere. I really liked it too. I have to go get another one today because it is driving me so crazy. Hopefully I can find another one like it. I liked it because it retracted. It wasn't just a long 5 ft wadded up tape measure, it was compact and wonderful....so sad =(.

V-Day

My new workout is going great! I am feeling it all over my body. I ache all over, but in a good way. I know that my body is changing and getting better and the pain is just weakness leaving the body right. Well today is Valentine's Day and Jeff and I are going to a nice dinner without Micah! Wow, I can't tell you how long it has been since that has happened.

Stronger

Those before pictures scare me, but it also motivates me. I am not anywhere close to where I want to be, but I am also not as large as I was a few months ago. Everyday I get stroger. I am even getting better at push ups which is one of my goals.

Pictures

Pictures always help motivate me. I like to see where I am and where I have come from. It helps me set my path for the future. With that said these are pictures of me as of today.

I feel that I am going to stick to this. Now is my time. Time to be the amazing beautiful person on the outside that is the same as the inside.

New Trainer

So it was my first day with my new trainer The New Lifting Rules for Women. Let me just say holy cow! I feel it. I am excited to see my results in 4 weeks. I got my training down now I just have to work hard in the gym and focus on not over/under eating. Plus drink lots of water. Man it is kind of overwhelming. I can't wait for it to become second nature and I won't have to think so hard about my eating.

Wish me luck!

The New Rules of Lifting For Women

This book is going to change the way I workout and train. When I was reading the book it really just made sense. I had been searching for something to help me get back into training hard and everything I was coming across just didn't seem right for me. Then I was parusing one of the fitness boards I am a member of and people were reveiwing the book. After reading their comments and looking the book up online I realized it was exactly what I had been looking for. I bought the book yesterday and am finished already. I plan on starting the routine tomorrow and I can't wait.

I have always felt that fitness and eating should fit into your life individually and should make sense for you. No two people are the same and so why should eating and fitness be taught the same for everyone. General training is good for people to start to learn to listen to themselves, but as I get older I am learning to listen to body, spirit, and mind a little more.

No longer a Vegetarian....for now
I have decided that the vegan, veggie life isn't for me right now. Mabey later, mabey not. I added seafood last month and chicken back this month. I feel that I can be healthy and choose healthy meats to feed my family. It is so much more complicated than I am writing but for now this is my choice.
